Avid gamers know how both Fallout 4 and Doom will sooner or later be experienced firsthand in a virtual world.
Shooting deathclaws with Nuka-nuke launchers, taking stuffs and being a hoarder that you are, and letting Dogmeat give away your position--all in full VR.
Or you get to perform glory kills on demonic aliens, punch the extraterrestrial s*** out of them, teleport from place to place like a ninja on steroids, and survive on mars as "one of Earth's toughest, hardened in combat and trained for action".
The good news? You'll never have to choose between them because both will soon be available in HTC Vive.
For those who don't understand what I'm talking about, Fallout 4 is a story of Nate or Nora, surviving an apocalypse where the United States is almost infinitely stuck in the 1950s era after the cold war alternatively ended with a nuclear bang. Doom, on the other hand, lets you play as an unknown warrior, wearing an exoskeletal suit and surviving the red planet's wide array of monsters that are teleported from hell. Both games are first-person shooters, have an immersive environment, and are insanely fun.
On E3 2017, they were put on display and you get to demo them there. However, both of them are being released soon with Fallout 4 on the HTC Vive on October 2017, while Doom on the Playstation VR and HTC Vive still has no specific launch date.
So say goodbye to your friends and family, because these games will suck the life out of you. And it will be glorious.
