I can still remember how it felt like after graduation. You know, that first taste of independence in almost anything but most importantly, financially. It's like a different but familiar world- with a job, rent to pay, and having everyday expenses (i.e. groceries and utilities).
Thing is, budgeting isn't always easy. There are these birthdays, Christmas', New Years, and every other occasion (i.e. binge-watching Netflix or drinking out) that are just truly capable of keeping me from managing my own money.
Luckily, Emile Bennett understood this and so he created a budgeting app called Pennies.
While app's main users are 18- to 25 year-olds like me (usually fresh grads), this is perfect for all ages! Newly -weds trying to save for the future? Download Pennies! Trying to keep some money for your planned vacation? Download Pennies!
"It's very much a budgeting app for everyday people trying to find a little help with managing their spending money," Bennett said.
It's also very easy. When downloaded, Pennies will ask you few important information like your salary each pay period or your monthly rent. It even has a feature that allows you to create multiple budgets say for coffee and for "fun"! After that, Pennies will then tell you how much money you're allowed to spend each day.
This helpful app
allows users to create their weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly budget. Also, if you're close to slipping, whether due to a new gadget or just that mouth-watering food, it will show your spending health to help you weigh your choices and lead to a decision that won't deplete your bank account.
"It has quickly become part of my daily routine," one reviewer said. "I think it's the simplicity that makes it great."
Can't wait to try it with you, guys!
