If you're one of those fashion-enthused people living in a fast-paced environment, you need to check this out!
We've all been there: stacking up our clothes just to find that "perfect outfit" for a night-out or a date-night. Not only will it mess up our room but will give us less time to prim ourselves (who would want to match a carefully chosen outfit with a disastrous make-up?). So, the result: always. being. late.
Well, say no more. Meet Alexa, a virtual assistant that has a microphone and "eyes" designed to help you with your everyday life and, well, judge your outfits. Called Echo Look,
she uses an algorithm, machine learning that can decide if you look fat in that shirt or gorgeous in that dress. Now this is a game-changer!
While Alexa can snap pictures of your attire to send to your friends, she can readily judge it instead with its built-in app called StyleCheck
. So, if you're cool with Amazon putting a camera in your bedroom that allows them to see and perhaps catalog every single article of clothing you own (take note: she can tell when you need a new underwear), what are you waiting for?
"All photos and video captured with your Echo Look are securely stored in the AWS cloud and locally in the Echo Look app until a customer deletes them," a spokesperson for the company said. "You can delete the photos or videos associated with your account anytime in the Echo Look App."
Maybe I'm just too paranoid and all for it kinda feels like the Big Brother in the book 1984 is getting realer and realer... But hey, if this is your thing, go ahead and buy one!
