Elon Musk mentioned in his interviews and posts about his fear of the potential danger of AI. Musk and his team are very aware of the probable harm robots can cause to humanity. This is the same reason behind the team's effort to study the robot's greatest potential for danger. As part of that, Musk took another step towards their goal. Recently, it was reported that Musk, and a nonprofit, Open AI teamed up with Microsoft to ensure robots will bring only benefits to humans and the world. They will be using a virtual cloud where they can safely perform tons of testing and experiments.   Microsoft Azure is the company's massive scale operating cloud, where thousands of virtual machines can be created. According to Open Ai and Microsoft, Azure will be a great contribution to the success of their studies. "One of the most important factors for accelerating our progress is accessing more and faster computers; this is particularly true for emerging AI technologies like reinforcement learning and generative models," the team said on a blogpost just recently. One of Open AI's mission is to protect the AI technology from benig monopolized, which they are sure can cause regrettable consequences for the people. Microsoft Azure is a crucial ingredient towards their success due to its open source technologies. Hear more of what Elon Musk have to say about this news in his interview with Code Conference.
